As a theater major at Boston University, Leerhsen thought she'd win leading
roles, not for Woody, but on stage. "I fell into movies by accident.
I was very much an intellectual. I don't really even think I brushed my
hair because I didn't care. I was very much all about theater."
She landed an agent right out of school,
did some off-Broadway theater, but
mostly went out on auditions. "I never
really saw myself as a film actress."
Appearing in theaters next, Leerhsen
returns to the spooky genre with a remake of The
Texas Chainsaw Massacre, one of the creepiest old school fright-fests
of all time...
